School Council

What We Do

As School Council members we try to help improve our school, so far we have replaced old books, furniture and equipment. We hope that in the future we will be able help your child / children enjoy and have fun at Lapal Primary School. The School Council are hoping to add excitement to our playground by spending the School Council money on: a sand-pit, bowling alley, noughts and crosses and quiz tables.

Achievements

The government sent some trained members down to our school to train some pupils to become Playground Pals. Playground Pals has been a success with older children as much as with the younger children. We also helped to create a tyre park on the playground, which everyone seems to enjoy when it’s their turn. As well as all this we helped the school win an award to become a Healthy School.




 

Lapal School Council have been carrying out a travel survey to try to encourage children to walk to school.
